ENG vs SA: England Women pacer Emily Arlott ruled out of the one-off Test against South Africa



England Pacer Emily Arlott has been ruled out of the upcoming one-off Test against South Africa Women as a consequence of the after-effects of COVID-19. Reportedly, Arlott remains to be getting over the virus and has left the camp to return dwelling.

Uncapped speedster Issy Wong, who was named as the Travelling reserve by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) whereas saying the squad earlier this week, has changed Arlott in the squad. It is anticipated that alongside Wong, fellow bowlers Freya Davies and Lauren Bell, batter Emma Lamb and all-rounder Alice Davidson-Richards may all make their Test debut against the Proteas.

Notably, the one-off Test between the two nations that begins from June 27 shall be performed at The Cooper Associates County Ground in Taunton. After the red-ball battle, England and South Africa will lock horns in the white-ball sequence, consisting of three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and as many T20 Internationals (T20Is).
