Eight hurt in Queens house fire overnight, FDNY says

NEW YORK — Eight folks, together with a couple of cops, have been hurt in an in a single day fire in Fresh Meadows, Queens on Saturday. 

The name got here in at round 2:15 a.m. reporting a fire on the second one flooring of a house on 73rd Avenue between 164th Street and 166th, the FDNY mentioned.

It took firefighters about 45 mins to get the fire beneath keep watch over. 

A 50-year-old guy, 46-year-old lady, 22-year-old lady and 3 kids, ages 7, 9 and 10, have been injured and brought to native hospitals. 

The guy was once in essential situation after struggling burns and smoke inhalation, officers mentioned.

Two cops have been hospitalized for smoke inhalation. 

The reason for the fire is beneath investigation.
