MELBOURNE, Fla. (WFLA) — A driver died after they crashed into a fireworks store in Melbourne, inflicting the constructing to erupt in flames on Monday afternoon.
NBC affiliate WESH reported that smoke could possibly be seen billowing from the Phantom Fireworks on West New Haven Avenue.
The Florida Highway Patrol mentioned the SUV struck a Toyota Tacoma, which despatched each autos by an intersection and into the Phantom Fireworks car parking zone, WESH reported. The SUV continued by the car parking zone and into the fireworks store.
Fire officers mentioned the SUV driver died on the scene. The individual’s id has not been launched.
WESH reported that the opposite driver was not damage and stayed on the scene.
