Driver Charged After Leading Officers On Pursuit That Ended In SE OKC Crash

A person has been charged after main officers on a pursuit that led to a crash earlier this month in southeast Oklahoma City.

Daniel Woods was charged on a number of accounts: assault and battery with a harmful weapon, endangering others whereas eluding a police officer, driving inebriated, larceny of merchandise from retailer, and reckless driving.

Bob Mills SkyNews 9 was over the scene of the crash, which occurred on Jan. 13 close to Eastern Avenue between Southeast 59th Street and Interstate 240.

Why was the suspect working from police?

The driver was suspected of shoplifting at an OnCue at Northwest tenth Street and Portland Avenue in Oklahoma City, the place he allegedly tried to hit a police officer along with his automotive.
