Dog rescued from commercial structure fire; damage estimated at over $300K, SAFD says


SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio hearth investigators are seeking to decide the reason for a fireplace at a commercial structure at the town’s Northeast Side past due Sunday night time.

The hearth was once referred to as in round 8:30 p.m. at a commercial development positioned within the 4700 block of Rittiman Road, no longer a long way from Space Center Drive and Loop 410.

Fire officers stated the hearth was once in a separated strip heart that accommodates a tire store, an auto store, a printing corporate and a granite store. Firefighters fought the hearth defensively and it was once “stubborn in the attic area”.

The SAFD stated one trade had hearth, water and smoke damage whilst two others had water and smoke damage. There had been no reported accidents.

A canine was once discovered to be trapped within one of the vital constructions, however it was once rescued, firefighters stated. The explanation for the hearth isn’t recently identified.

Damage to the development is estimated at over $300,000.

The San Antonio Fire Department, the San Antonio Police Department and EMS all replied to the decision.

The hearth was once upgraded to a 2nd alarm as a precaution simplest, the SAFD stated.
