Deputies seek shooter who left man ‘clinging to life’ in Pompano Beach


POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives launched surveillance video Thursday of a taking pictures that they are saying left a man “clinging to life” in Pompano Beach closing week.

According to investigators, the taking pictures came about simply earlier than 4 p.m. on Feb. 15, close to the 700 block of Northwest sixteenth Place.

After BSO deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue spoke back to the scene, emergency crews situated a male sufferer affected by a gunshot wound.

Authorities stated the sufferer was once transported via paramedics to a space sanatorium with non-life threatening accidents.

Pompano Beach resident Amy Whaley instructed Local 10 News that she heard gunshots whilst inside her house.

“As soon as I saw him, I prayed over him. It looked scary, she said. “I thought for sure he wasn’t going to make it to the hospital. It was bad.”
