Deputies ID driver who died in Pompano Beach rollover crash



POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – A person was once killed in an early morning single-vehicle crash Tuesday, and detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit are investigating the instances surrounding the deadly collision.

According to BSO, the crash took place simply sooner than 2 a.m. close to the 3200 block of West Atlantic Boulevard in Pompano Beach.

Preliminary investigation printed that 20-year-old Anthony D. Charles and two passengers had been touring eastbound in a crimson 2016 Lexus ES350, detectives mentioned.

Authorities say the Lexus left the roadway sooner or later and drove onto a curb, then a sidewalk, sooner than colliding into an aluminum pedestrian handrail and rolling over.

BSO deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue answered to the crash the place they discovered the driver, Charles, was once pronounced deceased on the scene, consistent with BSO Public Information Officer Gerdy St. Louis.
