Dallas police: 8-year-old struck while on scooter at 3600 Dilido

DALLAS — An 8-year-old boy has died after being struck and killed by a car while driving a scooter, Dallas police stated in a preliminary report Monday evening. 

According to the report, officers responded to a name regarding “a major accident” within the 3600 block of Dilido Road round 7:10 p.m.

When emergency crews arrived, the 8-year-old was transported to an area hospital, the place he died from his accidents, police stated.

At this time, there isn’t any phrase on the driving force of the car that struck the kid. 

The investigation into the incident is ongoing, police stated Monday evening. The boy’s title has not been launched at this time.
