Dallas area faces flash flooding threats as torrential rains continue across North Texas, mid-South


DALLAS – A risk of flash floods will stay within the forecast throughout the weekend for Texas and the southern Plains as torrential rains which were dominating the forecast all week enlarge into the mid-South.

In Kaufman County, which lies simply east of Dallas, evacuation orders had been put into position as floodwaters started creeping into houses.
