MIAMI – Crews from two cruise ships rescued teams of migrants stranded off the South Florida coast Monday, as file numbers of Cubans head to the Florida shores in what officers are calling an “unprecedented” humanitarian crisis.
Videos from passengers and crew of the Carnival Celebration, on its technique to PortMiami, and the Celebrity Beyond, on its technique to Port Everglades, confirmed the crews of every ship rescuing stranded migrants.
On the Celebration, passengers stated the ship’s cruise director made an announcement at round 11 a.m. {that a} raft with a number of migrants had been noticed within the water and that the migrants gave the impression to be in want of assist.

Later Tuesday morning, a gaggle of roughly 20 migrants landed in Key West, officers with the U.S. Border Patrol stated.
