ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A Texas couple has been arrested in connection to a malnourished 10-year-old woman who medical consultants say had 0% body fat.
Marcela Ortiz and Jesus Sanchez, who’ve been recognized because the 10-year-old’s stepmother and father, had been each arrested for Injury to a Child final week following the investigation, which started in January 2021 when Child Protective Services gained custody of the kid.
