WASHINGTON — Teddy Ray, a comic and actor who appeared on the HBO Max collection “PAUSE with Sam Jay,” has died, authorities confirmed on Saturday. He was 32.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office and the county’s coroner’s workplace confirmed that the demise of the comic, whose authorized title was Theadore Brown, was reported Friday morning within the desert group of Rancho Mirage, the Los Angeles Times reported. Sheriff’s Sgt. Brandi Swan, who mentioned deputies responded to a name in regards to the demise at a personal residence, mentioned that the reason for demise was unknown.
Entertainment corporations and a few of Ray’s fellow comedians reacted with unhappiness to the news of Ray’s demise.
“Teddy Ray was a hilarious and beloved performer,” TV community Comedy Central mentioned in a Twitter assertion. “He’ll be deeply missed by the entire comedy community.”
All Def Digital, a multi-platform media firm that Ray had collaborated with, tweeted that it was “heartbroken” in regards to the news of Ray’s demise. “We will miss him every day but we know he will have Heaven laughing,” the tweet learn.
Ray appeared because the bailiff on “PAUSE with Sam Jay,” appeared within the digital collection Cancel Court, and was a slapstick comedian.
The comic had simply turned 32 a pair weeks in the past on his final Instagram posts.
