MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Coconut Creek High School was positioned on code-red lockdown on Friday following experiences of a gun on campus.
Coconut Creek police stated they’d arrested a 16-year-old pupil for “bringing a gun on campus.”

Police stated, “He’s charged with possessing a gun on school grounds, defacing its serial number, and disrupting a school function. No one was hurt in the incident.”
Students have been launched in teams to reunification websites throughout the road.
The faculty is positioned within the 1400 block of NW forty fourth Avenue.

CBS4 obtained cellphone video within the school rooms because the lockdown was ongoing, exhibiting a lot of the lights switched off.
Students inform us they waited a very long time to be dismissed.
“I feel kind of nervous and anxious this isn’t the first time Coconut Creek has been going through a lot of issues so I’m very worried and I don’t think my child is going to go back to this school,” stated Natalie Etienne, mother or father.
