THE HAGUE – Several thousand local weather activists blocked a Dutch highway on Saturday in anger at billions of euros in govt subsidies for industries that use oil, coal and fuel published in a report previous this week.
The protesters — from Extinction Rebellion, Greenpeace and different organizations — broke thru a police barrier and sat on a primary highway in The Hague heading to the brief venue for the decrease space of parliament.
They threatened to keep till the subsidies are lifted, and to come again on a daily basis if the police take away them.
