Ten college and staff members from Oklahoma State University’s College of Education
and Human Sciences obtained university-wide recognition at the 2022 University Awards
Convocation on Dec. 8.
President Kayse Shrum and OSU’s provost Dr. Jeanette Mendez introduced recipients with
awards in educating, service and contribution to their respective schools as nicely
because the college.
Dr. Ki Cole from the School of Educational Foundations, Leadership and Aviation was
awarded the Distinguished Early Career Faculty Award. An affiliate professor of analysis,

of Gender, Women’s and Sexuality Studies. This award is given to college who’ve made vital contributions to analysis,

Dr. Greg Clare was recognized for his current appointment of the Carol Dewitt Morsani
Endowed Professorship in Design for ongoing work within the areas of lighting design and
client conduct, significantly for the growing older group. Nutritional Sciences professor
Dr. Daniel Lin has been honored with the John and Sue Taylor Human Environmental Sciences
Professorship for continued instruction in diet and metabolism programs for each undergraduates and graduate college students. Newly appointed chair and professorship holders have been introduced with medallions.
The award for Academic Excellence in Academic Program Assessment has been given to
Amy Birchfield, Dr. Alana Cluck and Dr. Tyler Kane of OSU’s RN to BSN on-line nursing
diploma program. This award acknowledges educational program evaluation people or
groups who show innovation, excellence and dedication to program outcomes evaluation
planning, reporting and implementation.
Michelle Crew, senior educational advisor within the College of Education and Human Sciences
Student Success Center, obtained the Advising Excellence Award for excellent educational
advising by college and staff.
