BYU football: Cormani McClain considering Florida, Miami, Alabama


Last fall, there was a very nice buzz surrounding BYU soccer recruiting, as 5-star prospect Cormani McClain of Lakeland, Florida, visited the school and included it in a listing of the 5 establishments he was most considering.

However faint, there was hope amongst Cougar followers that BYU may be capable of land the cornerback who’s now ranked by 247 Sports as the No. 2 prospect in the entire country for the class of 2023 (Louisiana quarterback Arch Manning, the nephew of Peyton and Eli Manning and grandson of Archie Manning, is No. 1 and committed to Texas).

Well, BYU has pale from McClain’s image within the ensuing months, and with the home windows to signal with a college just some months away, McClain is on the point of determine the place he’ll play school soccer.

Earlier this week, McClain’s mom Kaishay announced that her son will announce his dedication on Oct. 27, and on3.com’s Hayes Fawcett reported that McClain will select amongst a closing three of Florida, Alabama and Miami.
