Brush fire ignites in Coconut Creek

COCONUT CREEK, Fla. – Firefighters rushed to the scene of a blaze in Coconut Creek on Monday.

A broom fire sparked in a wooded house close to Hillsboro Boulevard and Lyons Road.

Traffic was once briefly diverted as first responders started combating the blaze, officers mentioned.

There were no experiences of accidents.

Authorities mentioned Monday night that crews had the fire below keep an eye on.
