Broward elementary school placed on ‘secure status’ due to threatening text message



PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – A Broward County elementary school used to be placed on a “secure status” Friday morning after a threatening text message used to be despatched by way of a scholar, the school district showed.

Police spoke back to Lake Forest Elementary, situated at 3550 SW forty eighth Ave. in Pembroke Park.

A spokesperson for the school district mentioned “All students and staff are safe.”

Police didn’t instantly ascertain who the text message used to be despatched to or some other information about the incident.
