Brian Anderson HRs, Marlins win 6-3 for 9th win in 10 vs Nationals

AP – Brian Anderson homered, and the Miami Marlins beat Washington 6-3 on Friday evening for their ninth win in 10 video games in opposition to the Nationals this season.

Soler is hitting .217 with 13 homers and 34 RBIs.

Nationals: OF Victor Robles left for undisclosed causes in the fifth.

Washington activated RHP Mason Thompson (biceps pressure) from the 60-day IL. 

Thompson hasn’t pitched in the majors since April 9.

RHP Aníbal Sánchez (cervical nerve impingement) will make his second rehabilitation begin for Triple-A Rochester on Sunday.

LHP Josh Rogers (shoulder impingement) allowed seven runs in 3 2/3 innings Thursday in a rehab begin for Rochester.
