MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Border Patrol brokers have been busy Sunday as Cuban migrants tried making their manner into South Florida.
The first touchdown occurred at 2:30 a.m. within the Keys. According to Chief Patrol Agent Walter Slosar, 10 migrants have been taken into custody with the assistance of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. Slosar mentioned this was maritime smuggling occasion.

Border Patrol brokers then responded Sunday afternoon to a different touchdown in Golden Beach. Slosar mentioned six migrants swam to shore after their vessel capsized. There have been no reported accidents.
