Former Australian cricketer Michael Clarke has reportedly been dumped by the BCCI for Border Gavaskar Trophy after a video of his altercation with girlfriend Jade Yarborough went viral on social media.

The footage confirmed Yarborough accusing Clarke of infidelity and even slapping him. This incident has resulted within the BCCI taking a swift motion and terminating Clarke’s commentary contract.

Clarke’s deliberate journey to India in February was referenced by Yarbrough of their public brawl, hinting Clarke had requested his ex-girlfriend Pip Edwards to accompany him.

“You want to send her to India with you?” Yarbrough was heard screaming within the video.

“You’re the love of my life Pip, come with me to India.”

The altercation between Clarke and Yarbrough in Noosa was filmed by a member of the public, whereas TV present host Karl Stefanovic tried his finest to defuse the scenario.

Clarke and Yarbrough had been each fined by Queensland Police for making a public nuisance after the video went viral on social media.
