Body found in Memphis as police search for abducted jogger Eliza Fletcher


Police stated Monday {that a} physique has been found in south Memphis, an space they’ve been looking for Eliza Fletcher, the trainer who was abducted whereas jogging early Friday morning. Authorities have stated Fletcher, 34, was jogging round 4 a.m. on Friday when a person approached her and compelled her right into a darkish SUV after a short battle, which was caught on surveillance video. Fletcher was reported lacking when she didn’t return residence that morning. 

Memphis police stated in an affidavit that they consider Fletcher was severely injured in the kidnapping.

On Saturday, 38-year-old Cleotha Abston was arrested in reference to Fletcher’s disappearance. He is at present charged with particularly aggravated kidnapping and tampering with proof.
