Billikens Run at Oklahoma State


STILLWATER, Okla. – Saint Louis’ cross nation squads took half in a aggressive discipline at the Weis-Crockett Invitational held Saturday morning at Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Okla. The meet was contested on the identical course that the NCAA Championship will happen on Nov. 19.
 
The males’s crew was led by Toby Gillen, who completed 83rd with an 8K time of 24:55.4. Harrison Martinenko was subsequent with a time of 25:21.1, whereas Firaol Ahmed made his season debut and pulled in third amongst the Bills with a time of 25:25.3. Matt de Haas (25:31.1) and Patrick Donovan (26:14.8) rounded out the highest 5 for the Billikens.
 
Carly Sear led the Billiken ladies with a 6K time of twenty-two:29.3, which was a hundred and tenth general. Ashleigh Niklaus (23:29.8) and Emily Sipp (23:32.4) have been second and third for the crew, respectively. Also scoring for Saint Louis was Nicole Marco (23:59.5) and Jordan Kantola (24:07.5).
 
The SLU males completed with 609 factors and ranked twenty second out of 26 groups. The Billiken ladies turned in a rating of 694 to put twenty fourth.
 
Next up for Saint Louis is the 2022 Atlantic 10 Conference Cross Country Championships, which will likely be held Saturday, Oct. 29, at Pole Green Park in Mechanicsville, Virginia.
