WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden will host survivors and relations of victims of mass shootings at a White House event Monday highlighting the new law aimed at stopping such massacres.

The new law provides grants to states for “red flag” legal guidelines, enhances background checks by together with juvenile information, and closes the “boyfriend loophole” by conserving weapons away from nonspouse courting companions convicted of abuse.
A small group of Democratic and Republican senators crafted the law within the wake of the shootings in Buffalo, N.Y., and Uvalde, Texas.
