Beaumont woman identified as body found in vacant building

BEAUMONT, Texas — A body found in a vacant Beaumont building every week in the past has been identified as a Beaumont woman who have been reported lacking in mid-September.

Police had been despatched on Friday, October 6, 2023,  to a vacant building on the nook of Magnolia ST and Maple Ave after a body used to be reported to had been found there in keeping with a news free up from Beaumont Police and a document tale.

When officials were given there they found a body in an “advanced state of decomposition” in keeping with a document tale and police.

Every week later police have introduced that the body has been identified as Myeshia Johnson, 23, of Beaumont.

Johnson, who used to be reported lacking on September 15, 2023, used to be final noticed in the realm of Cartwright and San Jacinto Streets south of College St  police stated.

Her body used to be found about 4 miles clear of the place she used to be final noticed.

Johnson, who police say had battled psychological well being and substance abuse problems, used to be recognized to have frequented the realm of Interstate 10 and eleventh St in Beaumont.
