The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has sacked the entire senior selection committee, together with chairman Chetan Sharma following the T20 World Cup 2022 debacle.
Team India, one of many favourites to clinch the title, crashed out of the event after going through a 10-wicket towards England, now champions, within the semifinal.

The BCCI has moreover invited functions for all of the positions.
In a launch, the board mentioned: “The candidates should have played a minimum of seven Test matches; or 30 First Class matches; or 10 ODI and 20 First Class matches.”
Also, the candidates ought to have retired from all codecs of the sport no less than 5 years in the past.
No one who has been a member of any Cricket Committee (as outlined within the guidelines and rules of BCCI) for a complete of 5 years shall be eligible to be a member of the lads’s selection committee.
The deadline for submitting the functions is 5 pm IST on November 28.
