The $26.5 billion-asset lender, the only Arkansas financial institution on the bottom there, is engaged on new branches in Jacksonville and Jacksonville Beach.

Bank OZK intends to remodel its mortgage manufacturing workplace in a former IberiaBank location at 3288 Third St. South in Jacksonville Beach right into a full-service department.

The financial institution needs to wade deeper into Jacksonville with a department at 6072 Youngerman Circle. The property beforehand housed a neighborhood lender, 121 Financial Credit Union.

Bank OZK at the moment operates one full-service workplace in Jacksonville. That lone department is house to deposits of $155 million, which ranks No. 17 among the many 23 banks in Duval County.

Bank OZK entered the Jacksonville market via acquisition. The department was among the many holdings of Atlanta’s Community & Southern Bank, bought in July 2016 in an $800 million deal.
