Authorities searching for hiker missing in Kings Canyon National Park

Paul Benson, 65, was once remaining observed climbing on Wednesday morning.

Authorities are taking a look for a person who went missing on a hike Wednesday in Kings Canyon National Park.

Paul Benson, 65, meant to head on an afternoon hike in the Ranger Lake house of California’s Kings Canyon National Park prior to returning to camp on the Ranger Lake, in step with the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.

Benson was once a part of an eight-person multiday backpacking go back and forth close to Seville Lake, Lost Lake, Ranger Lake and the JO Pass house, officers from the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks mentioned.

He was once remaining observed dressed in a pink and grey jacket; a blue, red and brown patterned fleece; tan or pink clay pants; and an olive brimmed hat, in step with the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.

Benson is described as 6-foot-4 and weighs about 200 kilos.

The National Park Service asks hikers who have been in the Ranger Lake house on Wednesday or Thursday and can have observed Benson to touch the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks Dispatch.
