Australian bobsledder, 48, dies suddenly from mind aneurysm as household pays tribute to their ‘rock’ who competed at the 2010 Winter Olympics
A former Australian Winter Olympic bobsledder has died suddenly of a mind aneurysm.
Duncan Pugh, 48, handed away in his hometown of Perth over the weekend after he suffered a bleed on the mind.
The bobsledder competed at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics and leaves behind his spouse McKenzie and two younger sons, aged six and 7.
‘We are heartbroken and easily misplaced for phrases. Taken far too quickly,’ McKenzie wrote in The West Australian.
‘You had been the rock of our household and wore your coronary heart in your sleeve. You had been so very pleased with our two boys, the very best dad anybody may have hoped for. Your ardour and dedication will endlessly reside on in our boys.
‘You made me really feel the centre of your world. We hope you are hanging out up there with Dougie. Love you at all times, your loving spouse Kenz, boys Charlie and George and furbaby Lola.’
