“During the search and rescue and even afterwards we’ve been collecting a lot of information,” says Kamel Saldi, a distant sensing and information visualization knowledgeable with NIST.

“One of the things our team is doing is using handheld photogrammetry systems in structure like based systems that we are using to scan the individual pieces of evidence,” says Saldi.
