Arlington Police: 12-year-old boy struck by bullet on New Year’s



ARLINGTON, Texas — A 12-year-old boy was injured after being struck by a bullet whereas watching fireworks to ring the New Year, the Arlington Police Department (APD) introduced Tuesday.

APD says officers have been known as to the 200 block of Robert Circle round 12:20 a.m. to analyze a reported capturing.

When officers arrived, they discovered the 12-year-old who’d been hit by a bullet. His household advised officers that they have been exterior watching fireworks that have been going off close to their house when the boy “began complaining that one thing had hit him.”

The boy was taken to a neighborhood hospital with non-life-threatening accidents. APD stated it’s believed that the 12-year-old has been handled and launched. 

APD stated it’s unclear the place the gunshot got here from and presently, the incident is beneath investigation.
