An earlier curfew for minors could be coming to Oklahoma City’s Bricktown

Young guests to Oklahoma City’s Bricktown Entertainment District might need to name it an evening just a little bit earlier.

Under a proposal to the Oklahoma City Council, minors would wish to filter of Bricktown by 9 p.m., seven days every week.

The present curfew within the space is 11 p.m., and OKC’s city-wide curfew for anybody underneath 18 is 12:01 a.m. to 6 a.m., Monday via Friday and 1 a.m. to 6 a.m., Saturday and Sunday.

The proposal comes after a latest incident in December, during which three people were shot exterior Harkins Theatres in Bricktown. Two brothers — a 19-year-old and a 14-year-old — are dealing with fees in that capturing, which allegedly stemmed from a combat between the youthful brother and one other minor earlier within the night.
