Dave Clark Amazon’s high govt over retail has resigned, saying in a tweet on Friday that he’s able to do one thing new after 23 years with the net behemoth.
Clark stated he’s had “an incredible time at Amazon, but it’s time for me to build again.”
Clark moved to Highland Park final fall after promoting his house in a Seattle suburb. He joined Amazon in 1999 after finishing an MBA in logistics. He was promoted to CEO of Amazon worldwide consumer in January 2021.
“For some time, I have discussed my intent to transition out of Amazon with my family and others close to me, but I wanted to ensure the teams were setup for success,” Clark stated.
