Amalie Thestrup joins West Ham on loan from PSV Eindhoven


West Ham have accomplished the signing of Danish ahead Amalie Thestrup on loan from PSV Eindhoven for the rest of the 2022/23 WSL season.

Thestrup joined PSV from Liverpool in 2021 following spells with Brondby, the University of Tennessee, Vejle Boldklub, BSF and Roma.

The 27-year-old has been capped four times by Denmark and has played in the Champions League.

“We’re delighted to welcome Amalie to the club,” added Paul Konchesky. “Amalie will carry a continuous work ethic on and off the pitch. She will make defenders know they’ve been in a recreation along with her work charge and never-say-die perspective and I’m hoping her intuition within the field will give us one other edge in matches.
