Accused Florida child molester arrested after Tinder match reveals conversation to cops


A lady used the Tinder dating app to assist Florida authorities take down a suspected child molester who mentioned he hoped to have daughters so he might groom them for sexual abuse, authorities mentioned. 

The girl informed News 6 in Orlando that she started speaking with Nicolas Wallace, 29, final week after they matched on the favored app. Eventually, their conversation turned darkish when Wallace admitted to being attracted to younger ladies, she mentioned.

“I decided to ask what was the youngest that he would go, and he said, ‘Do you really [want to] know?’” she informed the news outlet. The girl spoke to the news outlet anonymously.

He allegedly informed her: “She was 8, never forced or anything, started off slow.”

“Then, one day, finally, they had had sex,” she mentioned.

She reported Wallace to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office on Oct. 12, and undercover detectives started messaging with him whereas posing as the girl, authorities mentioned. During the conversation, Wallace allegedly despatched 4 photos of kids being sexually abused.

He then tried to organize to meet up with the girl and mentioned he would carry a younger child he claimed to have abused in the past and to whom he had “nearly unrestricted access to,” in accordance to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, which was already investigating Wallace for allegedly importing child sexual abuse materials to social media.

“During his conversation with undercover detectives, Wallace also explicitly described the process of grooming young children for sexual activity and stated that he hoped to have daughters of his own so that he could begin molesting and sexually battering them as infants,” Marion County authorities mentioned in a press release.

Investigators in Columbia County arrested Wallace on Oct. 14, earlier than the deliberate meetup, and searched his residence the place they took his digital gadgets. He is being held within the Marion County jail on $95,000 bond.
