WASHINGTON — Activists supporting abortion rights demonstrated outside the homes of conservative Supreme Court justices over the weekend to protest the doable reversal of the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade resolution.
Abortion rights proponents are planning extra protests outside justices’ homes this week within the wake of final Monday’s leaked opinion that instructed a majority of the court docket would overturn Roe v. Wade.
On Saturday, folks gathered within the rain outside the house of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in Chevy Chase, Maryland, based on organizing group Shutdown DC. It mentioned on Twitter that about 100 protesters confirmed up outside his dwelling and that of Chief Justice John Roberts.
Shutdown DC is promoting one other demonstration deliberate for Monday night time outside Justice Samuel Alito’s home, the creator of the leaked draft opinion.
