WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Wichita Police Department (WPD) says the 6-year-old girl that was kidnapped Sunday night time has been found safe in the world of Tonkawa, Okla., earlier than 8:30 p.m. and that the suspect is in custody.
According to the WPD, round 6:50 p.m., they obtained a name for the report of a stolen automotive with a 6-year-old girl in it in the 2300 block of N. Amidon.

“Oklahoma Highway Patrol got that message and located the vehicle south of the state line,” mentioned Summerer. “They were able to stop the vehicle with the suspect in it, take the suspect into custody.”
The girl was found safe in the automotive. Summerer says she might be coming again to Wichita Sunday night time to be reunited together with her household.
The suspect, who Summerer described as a person, might be introduced again to Wichita.
“The suspect we’re gonna have to work on to get back from Oklahoma through the legal process,” mentioned Summerer.
