HOUSTON — Greg Abbott is locked in a heated race for governor in opposition to Beto O’Rourke and he’s hoping to get his base motivated on schooling points.

Gov. Abbott, who campaigned at a non-public spiritual college in Dallas Thursday, is hoping to border the talk as giving energy to folks to determine.
“Public schools are put together first and foremost for the public good,” Zeph Capo, the Texas American Federation of Teacher president mentioned.

“You can’t cut back twice as much, add half as much back. and say that you’ve oversaw the largest increase, that frankly just disingenuous and not true.”
According to the United States Census, Texas is among the lowest rating states for per pupil spending within the nation.
Abbott’s opponent Democrat Beto O’rourke is campaigning on an schooling platform that eliminates the obligatory STAAR take a look at.
