5-star recruit Fisher from Canada signs with Texas Tech


LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) — Five-star prospect Elijah Fisher from Canada has signed a monetary help settlement with Texas Tech and determined to reclassify to the Class of 2022 so he can be a part of the Big 12 program this summer season.

Red Raiders coach Mark Adams introduced the signing Thursday.

The 6-foot-7 Fisher, who is eighteen years previous, is coming off his junior 12 months at Crestwood Academy in Toronto, his sixth season competing on the varsity degree. He had performed on the varsity degree since sixth grade.

Fisher averaged 28 factors, 13 rebounds, seven assists and three steals per sport this season for Crestwood. He set an Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association single-game document with a 75-point sport.

The versatile Fisher was MVP of this 12 months’s BioSteel All-Canadian sport, a highschool all-star sport that includes that nation’s prime expertise. He has additionally represented Canada in worldwide play.
