Multiple persons are in custody and an officer is on administrative depart after an incident Tuesday in northwest Oklahoma City, police mentioned.
The incident occurred when an Oklahoma City Police Department officer positioned what was believed to be a stolen automobile close to Northwest tenth Street and North Gardner Avenue. The officer yelled for the folks contained in the automobile to exit.
According to police, the individuals who had been within the automotive ran away, and an officer fired at one in every of them. A police spokesperson informed News 9 that 5 folks ran from the scene and that 4 of them had been taken into custody.
No accidents have been reported and the officer concerned has been positioned on administrative depart.
