TAMPA, Fla. — A 28-year-old man has been arrested for the alleged homicide of a one-year-old little one, the Tampa Police Department (TPD) acknowledged on Tuesday.
TPD responded to a name at a Woodville Street house on August 1 after receiving a report {that a} little one was not respiration. Police stated they recognized the suspect as Terin Smith, who allegedly hit the kid for “being whiny,” whereas its mom went to work.
According to a press launch, different kids within the house rushed to a neighbor for assist after they realized the sufferer was unresponsive. The little one was later pronounced lifeless after being transported to Saint Joseph’s Hospital.
Autopsy studies revealed that the sufferer suffered from head and stomach accidents.
Smith was arrested on August 21 in Clarksville, Tennessee, the place he was charged with first-degree homicide whereas engaged in aggravated little one abuse.
