Based on its opening montage alone, the Curiosity Stream documentary collection “Speed” makes the on a regular basis commute seem to be one thing unmissable. In a world that wishes to maneuver sooner, this four-episode deep dive into all-things mechanical solutions the burning questions we have now about the way forward for transportation. Taking in death-defying passages of flight, rocket launches into area, and probably the most lovely rail journeys throughout the U.S. and Europe, “Speed” is the proper documentary collection to throw on to flee the remainder of the world. The 50-minute episodes embody all components of life to ask how they will inform what comes subsequent, all whereas answering our questions on after we can count on flying vehicles.
Hosted by engineer Sean Riley, the sense of entertaining schooling begins the second viewers press play. He’s not limiting himself to planes, trains, and cars, both. It’s partially due to Riley’s willingness to transcend the boundaries that the collection stands in a league of its personal. It even covers areas of worldwide trade not often touched on by mainstream media, reminiscent of Polynesian outrigger canoes.
