14-year-old robbed at gunpoint at The Falls



MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A 17-year-old has been arrested after police say he focused a 14-year-old boy at The Falls in southwest Miami-Dade, forcing him to strip and give up all of his property.

The armed theft was once reported round 8:20 p.m. Saturday at the open-air buying groceries mall, positioned at 8888 SW 136th St.

According to Miami-Dade police, the sufferer and his buddies have been strolling within the mall Saturday night time, however the sufferer began strolling rather at the back of the gang at one level and was once approached via the suspect, Malik Michael McCallum, who lifted his blouse, exposing a gun in his waistband.

Police stated McCallum ordered the sufferer to stroll to the parking storage and the sufferer, in concern for his existence, complied.

According to the suspect’s arrest document, when they have been within the storage, McCallum ordered the sufferer at hand over his clothes, footwear and mobile phone.

After the sufferer complied, McCallum fled the scene, government stated.

Police stated the sufferer’s mobile phone later transmitted a sign at the Circle Plaza Apartments on Evergreen Street and officials noticed McCallum, who matched the outline of the robber.

Police stated the sufferer then recognized McCallum in a photograph lineup on Tuesday.

According to government, they bought a warrant to look McCallum’s house and he was once taken into custody Thursday.

Police stated McCallum invoked his proper to not discuss with detectives with out an lawyer provide. He was once then booked into the Juvenile Assessment Center.
