ATLANTA — Eleven folks on a Delta Air Lines flight have been taken to the hospital on Tuesday after the aircraft hit turbulence whilst heading to Atlanta, officers mentioned.
Flight 175 had left Milan, Italy, and was once about 40 miles (64 kilometers) northeast of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport when the group reported serious turbulence, in accordance to the Federal Aviation Administration, which mentioned it’s going to examine.
The Airbus A350 landed safely on the airport in a while sooner than 7 p.m.
Eleven passengers and group individuals have been taken to the hospital, Delta mentioned. It did not supply main points on their accidents or stipulations.
The aircraft was once wearing 151 passengers, 10 flight attendants and 4 pilots, Delta mentioned.
