Nearly a dozen youngsters had been hospitalized Wednesday in Collin County after a pickup truck crashed into the again of a Farmersville ISD college bus, state troopers say.
Texas DPS spokesman Sgt. Kyle Bradford mentioned it occurred at about 4:24 p.m. at Farm-to-Market Road 2194 at County Road 1661.
A Farmersville ISD bus with 48 youngsters on board was stopped whereas dropping off a scholar when it was struck from behind by a Ford F-150 pickup truck.
Ten college students on the bus and the driving force of the pickup had been taken to close by hospitals. All had accidents that weren’t life-threatening, Bradford mentioned.
The driver of the pickup shall be ticketed, he added.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
