1 Arrested in North Texas Fentanyl Bust – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth


A Dallas man faces drug prices after a search of his automobile in Plano uncovered hundreds of fentanyl tablets, the Collin County Sheriff’s Office says.

In a news launch, Collin County sheriff’s deputies say Eduardo Reyes, 23, was pulled over throughout a visitors cease Friday at U.S. 75 and Republic Drive in Plano. Reyes consented to a search of his car, which led deputies to seek out roughly 6,000 fentanyl tablets and a gun, the assertion mentioned.

Reyes was taken into custody and charged with the manufacture/supply of a penalty group 1 narcotic of greater than 400 grams and a cost of illegal carrying of a weapon. He was held in jail on a $402,500 bond, jail information confirmed. It wasn’t instantly identified if he was represented by an lawyer.

“This seizure illustrates our continuing commitment to use every resource and tactic available to help stem the flow of this deadly poison from entering our communities,” Collin County Sheriff Jim Skinner mentioned in a press release.
