Wrong-way driver intentionally crashes into SAPD patrol unit, police say



SAN ANTONIO – A girl using the wrong-way on Interstate 10 intentionally crashed her car into a San Antonio police cruiser past due Tuesday evening, in step with SAPD.

The incident befell round 10 p.m. close to the I-10 and Loop 410 interchange at the town’s Northwest Side.

According to police, a girl used to be observed on Transguide using the fallacious method on I-10. That’s when, police say, as officials attempted to drag her over, she sooner or later hit every other automotive after which hit a police officer’s car on goal.

Police stated officials sooner or later spiked her car after which used a pit maneuver to prevent her.

SAPD stated the girl used to be arrested on suspicion of DWI. She has now not been known.

The San Antonio Police Department, the San Antonio Fire Department, EMS and the Texas Department of Transportation HERO unit all replied to the decision.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing, police stated.
