TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Firefighters needed to battle a ship fire in the Florida Keys early Monday morning as seen on video.
Video from the U.S. Coast Guard confirmed the boat fully engulfed by flames whereas firefighters in different boats tried to place it out.
According to the Coast Guard, each guardsmen and firefighters with the City of Key West Fire Department responded to the fire at round 6:30 a.m.
After the fire was extinguished, the boat ended up sinking into the water.
The Coast Guard mentioned no accidents had been reported. The reason behind the fire continues to be underneath investigation.
