Vidor man indicted on child pornography possession charges


ORANGE, Texas — A 52-year-old Vidor man is in the back of bars in Orange County after being indicted on child pornography possession charges closing week.

Timothy John Brown, 52, of Vidor, was once booked into the Orange County Jail on Saturday, September 23, 2023, on 5 charges of  possession of child pornography in keeping with prison information.

Brown was once indicted on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 and faces from two to ten years in jail and a $10,000 high-quality for every of the 5 charges, which can be 3rd level felonies.

His case has been assigned to be heard prior to Judge Steve Parkhurst in Orange County’s 260th District Court.

Brown is being held within the Orange County Jail on bonds of $75,000 according to rate for a complete bond of $425,000 in keeping with prison information.
