(KTLA) – A safety digital camera captured the terrifying second a coyote attacked a 2-year-old in broad daylight in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Woodland Hills.
The video shows the toddler being attacked and dragged by the coyote, all in a matter of seconds. The lady’s dad and mom, Shira and Ariel Eliyahuo, mentioned that they had simply arrived again residence from preschool, parked the automotive and brought their daughter out of her automotive seat.
As the dad and mom collected her toys contained in the automotive, a coyote may be seen working towards the toddler and biting down on her legs, dragging her facedown onto the sidewalk. While the lady screamed for assist, her dad, Ariel, ran over to rescue her whereas yelling loudly to scare off the coyote.
“For a second, he [Ariel] just turned inside the car and he just heard her screaming and he didn’t see the coyote, he thought she fell,” defined the lady’s mom, Shira. “So he ran over and he saw the coyote.”
The coyote appeared unfazed because it lingered for a number of moments earlier than Ariel is seen throwing a rock on the animal.
“She has a lot of scratches on her left leg and one of them is really deep,” Shira mentioned of her daughter’s accidents. “We had to go to the ER. We had to get her rabies shots. The coyote just kind of dragged her so her face is also a little bit bruised.”
While a crew with Nexstar’s KTLA was reporting on scene, a coyote immediately appeared in entrance of the household’s residence Friday night time. Ariel chased the coyote again into the bushes.
The household mentioned they’re bored with the animals lurking in their neighborhood. They need to stop an attack like this from taking place to a different baby, and are hoping the town will get entangled by trapping and eradicating the coyotes from the group.
